SECOND TRANSLATION OPTION USING WORD

Close Dreamweaver and open Microsoft Word (it must be a version Word 2000 or newer which enables Arabic text).

Open a page from your arabic folder. Now over-write the English text in Arabic. Do the same for the title and the navigation text links. Save the pages - making sure they are in your arabic folder inside your Root folder.

It is important to remember that you can translate the text into Arabic in Microsoft Word but you cannot transfer tables or other elements from Microsoft Word to Dreamweaver and also, you cannot edit the arabic text in Dreamweaver

Close Microsoft Word and open Dreamweaver.

Now open your arabic page. The arabic text will not read properly until you Preview the page in your browser (press F12).

Assuming you have replaced the navigation links with Arabic text or Arabic buttons you will have to re-apply your links to the correct page in the arabic folder. Buttons should be in separate table cells so that you can make the links.

Re-arrange your design:
Because the Arabic language is read from right to left (whereas English is read from left to right) you will need to realign the text to the right.

You may also choose to re-arrange your page so that your navigation bar is moved from the left to the right for the comfort of your Arab visitors.

Now you must test your website
