Spoilt
for choice
Eating
out in Freetown is not easy - there's too much to choose from!
English,
French, Italian, Chinese, Lebanese, Armenian and of course African
dishes on offer at a host of good restaurants.
You can try
looking out to sea, enjoying the setting sun at one of the best-located
restaurants in Freetown, the Atlantic (right) or try the waterside
terrace at Alex's bar and restaurant or maybe have a first-class
home-made pizza at Paddys.
In the centre
of the town the Crown Bakery give a good service for lunches and
takeaways ... popular with the BrIts.
Francesco
Restaurant is great for a romantic evening dinner and the newly
developed Family Kingdom at Aberdeen is ideal for children. It has
a playground and a small zoo where children can be left supervised
by staff while parents try one of the two restaurants (which includes
Angel's Delight a first-class Lebanese restaurant).
Not to be missed
is a trip to No 2 River for barbecued lobster or a choice of fresh
seafood.
The choice seems
endless...
