Where are we?
Our London studio is based in the Shoreditch/Hoxton area, a
12-minute walk from Liverpool Street station (mainline and underground) or 10 minutes from Old Street underground station. Easy access from major airports.
This area was heavily bombed in the Blitz in the 1940s. Former industrial buildings have been converted to offices and flats, while Curtain Road and Old Street are notable for their clubs and pubs which offer a variety of venues to rival those of the West End.
In the 1990s, artists move into Shoreditch seeking cheap studio space. Art galleries including the highly regarded White Cube gallery in Hoxton Square, are surrounded by bars, restaurants, media businesses and the building of the Hackney Community College campus was a further feature of the transformation of the area. Now it's a thriving mecca of social and media business enterprise, the hip and arty place to be and be seen, and will be in the social hub of the 2012 London Olympics.
