Tatty Theo - Cello Tatty read music at The Queen's College, Oxford, continuing her studies at postgraduate level at the Royal College of Music with Anthony Pleeth and Jennifer Ward Clarke, where she was awarded her ARCM and MMus degrees.Tatty has won many prizes including first prize in the 1995 Early Music Century competition, and was the recipient of a NOSWAD scholarship to further her studies. She has performed with many ensembles and at festivals and concert halls throughout Britain and abroad, with live broadcasts on BBC Radio and television, both locally and nationally. She has collaborated with musicians such asEmma Kirkby, Ivor Bolton, Crispian Steel Perkins and Terry Riley, and worked with many of England's period instrument ensembles, including St. James's Baroque Players, the Academy of Ancient Music and Florilegium. In addition to concert performances and lectures on related subjects, Tatty is preparing performing editions of several unpublished works by Handel.
