Edinburgh Airport
Edinburgh Airport is Scotland’s capital airport. Over 50 airlines serve around 85 destinations and some eight million passengers pass through the airport a year.
Elliott Thomas is providing logistics and construction services at the main terminal and the new £14.5 million, 400ft eastern pier extension which will provide seven new aircraft parking stands.
Elliott Thomas has successfully completed the process of refurbishing the existing ladies toilets in the main terminal building whilst also constructing a new toilet block on the eastern pier extension. The company has adhered to strict corporate guidelines for the fit out of these facilities which, now completed, will be rolled out across the other BAA Scottish airports.
In addition, Elliott Thomas is also refurbishing the new pier connection to the main terminal incorporating shopfitting, flooring and mechanical and electrical installations whilst reconfiguring, refurbishing and carrying out general builders works within the Belfast Lounge Security Facility and the South East Pier.
Throughout the duration of the contract Elliott Thomas worked airside and within a live environment ensuring minimal disruption and potential hazards to passengers. |
