Bob has enjoyed a varied career with unique experience in all aspects of Construction and Project Management. As Project director or Principal Bob has experience in the UK and overseas in roles covering tendering, pre-contract works, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, funding, legal agreements and leases.
Recognising that the scale and complexity of projects is ever increasing, Elliott Thomas Ltd and Wilson James Ltd have formed Logicap Limited to provide a comprehensive logistics service to the 'Super Projects' and have appointed Bob as Managing Director.
Bob obtained an ONC (Mechanical Engineering), and HNC (Civil Engineering) at the Westminster Technical College and after further studies at Regent Street Polytechnic and Napier College, Edinburgh he obtained Membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers. He is also a member of the Association of Project Managers.
He has worked on a variety of projects including civil engineering contracts for reservoirs, sewage treatment plants, roads, bridges, steel rolling mills, as well as building contracts for automated warehousing, hotels, and commercial office projects for major financial institutions. Barclays Bank new global headquarters at Canary Wharf, London 2004-2006
From April 2004 until November 2005, he worked on a major project contributing to the construction and project management of Barclays bank new landmark building at Canary Wharf where occupation commenced in January 2005 with his involvement continuing to final close down and post contract works and business changes.
The Round House Theatre - Chalk Farm. 2002-2004
Having fallen into disrepair, The Roundhouse was bought by a former toy tycoon’s family through The Norman Trust with a messianic wish to develop the undercroft into a Creative Centre for under privileged children.
Crowley Project Management was appointed and provided the firm hand to take the project from design intent through the OJEC procedure, contractor interview and selection via two stage process, sub contractor selection, tendering and final contract discussions and completed the Planning and section 106 approvals.
